The Board of PaPakaBuhi has officially adopted this logo as its official seal for the recognition of its identity.

The 3 human figures at the center of the seal represent humanity, the people in our neighborhood and other local communities whose lives and well being Pag Pakabuhi is here for. One figure is small to convey the message that mental health cuts across the lifespan, and that we care for everyone, young and oldThe roof over the human figures is meant to give emphasis and importance to the home, the sanctuary of life, and the centrality of the family, the vital cell of society which forms the community of persons PagpakaBuhi believes social functioning is interwoven in the family where love and security, responsibility and solidarity are founded.

The colors have their own distinctive meaning and significance: The blue human form stands for authority, depth and stability, trustworthiness and dependability, faith and confidence, values, commitment and character traits we hope to see in the husband as head of the family. The red figure speaks of warmth and comfort, passion, vibrance, radiance and courage which all wives must exude in an environment of positive regard. White portrays purity goodness and the innocence’s childhood as indicated by the small figure.

The white dove represents simplicity, gentleness, faithfulness, forgiveness and peace of the deepest kind, the kind of inner peace we all need, to assuage human suffering. The dove over the rooftop symbolizes a home filled with love, tranquility and harmony. We are all in the mission of peace and being at peace with oneself is the foundation of mental health. This white dove also brings with it the message of blessing. faith and spiritual wholeness. Faith brings to wholeness the meaning of the family founded in marriage.

The dove with the heart on its bill is winging the message of love in our hearts. Red heart conveys our affection, deep caring and compassion as helping persons in the service of others.

The awareness ribbon on the left speaks of mental health and mental health issues which we want to raise consciousness about as an advocacy group. Green was once associated with mental illness but the color itself also represents growth, reawakening and rebirth. It represents life, the renewal of depleted energy, and restoration to a sense of well-being.

The star on the right signifies aspiration and hope, inspiration and creative brilliance, the the guiding light which is the metaphor for divine guidance. The 3 kings were guided to Bethlehem by a star. So any person who brings others to Christ is a star. This star is colored yellow to mean creative intellectual energy and determination which drive the change process. It also represents illumination and clarity of decision making as required for effective functioning.

The seal is enclosed in some kind of circle to express a tough of infinity in the pursuit of growth and wholeness. The gap in the enclosure signifies the opening to transcendence.
